Getting to Mesa & Leaving Mesa

Drop Off & Pick Up

In an effort to keep our community roads clear, keep vehicles moving, and maximize safety, students being dropped off before school and picked up after school will use the side door by accessing the back (north) parking lot.

Prior to 7:00 am students will use the main entrance to enter the building. After 3:00 pm students should wait outside the main entrance for their ride.

Arriving Late & Leaving Early

Arriving Late - Students will ring the bell to the right of the main doors and sign with the attendance window before proceeding to class.

Leaving Early - Parents/Guardians need to ring the bell to the right of the main doors to enter the building. They will report to the attendance window and verify their identification with their driver’s license in order to pick up their student.

Please allow at least 5-10 minutes for the student to be ready.

Attendance & Tardies

Call the attendance line at 303.387.4752 to report student absences. Students are responsible for connecting with their teachers in a timely manner about missed work and checking Google Classroom for assignments. Unreported absences will be unexcused until parent/guardian contact the attendance office.

Students are considered TARDY if they are not in class when the bell rings at the start of each period. Being to class on time is a skill we work to develop with our students and holding them accountable to those behaviors helps build that skill.

District Transportation

District daily bus service is provided to and from schools depending on the distance from the school.

Bus drop off and pick up at Mesa is at the front of the school by the main entrance.

Parents/guardians can search the bus route database to determine where the bus stop is located in their neighborhood and times for pick up/drop off.

SMART Tag is utilized by students to record their use of transportation services to and from school. All applications for SMART Tag are done through Express Check-In or visit the SMART Tag page for more information.
