Welcome to Mesa Middle School

High above Castle Rock, nestled amongst the canyons, trails, and open spaces, stands Mesa Middle School. Mesa is an International Baccalaureate recognized school with academic rigor. The instant you enter the front doors you enter into a world of exploration. Mesa Middle School currently has grades 6th through 8th and boasts 80% after school participation rate, in a variety of sports and a multitude of clubs.

7th grade Students: The CogAT, a universal screener, will be administered to all 7th students who have not been identified for gifted programming. Testing will happen by teams:  


Glacier: November 10th
Atlas: November 17th
Polar:  November 18th
Make Ups: November 29th - December 3rd

2021 CMAS Results Information

From DCSD Nutrition Services: Universal Free Meals School Year 2021-2022

For all schools where DCSD Nutrition Services operates, the USDA has extended Meals at No Cost through June 30, 2022. This means that one breakfast (where offered) and one lunch per day per student will continue to be provided at no cost to all students. Students are required to take a fruit or vegetable to make a reimbursable/no cost meal at breakfast and lunch. Ala Carte food items are available for purchase. Meals will be served in the school cafeterias to students.
