Katy Baccam

I am the Panda Language and Literature teacher and I am excited to continue my career here at Mesa as part of the Bear Family! I have been a teacher for over ten years and love helping students develop their literacy skills, discover their strengths, and feel successful every day.

A little about me: I grew up in Minnesota and attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I received my master's degree from UCCS in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught a variety of grades and subjects from 1st-8th grade. I have two children and enjoy hiking, reading, and playing with my kids.
