Crystal Hancey

My name is Crystal Hancey. I am excited to be entering my fourth year of teaching and second year in English Language Development! I love working with our Multilingual Learners here at Mesa. I will be working part-time this school year. I am originally from Syracuse, NY. I moved west to Utah after high school and earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Utah State University in 2005. I recently completed my Masters through Western Colorado University in Elmentary Education with an emphasis on Reading Leadership. I have lived in Utah, New Mexico, Kansas, Florida, and Colorado, before settling in Castle Rock over eight years ago. I am a mother of four daughters ages 13-20. In my freetime I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling. I have a passion for my family and education.
