Abigail Macaluso
I am a Colorado native and I proudly wear the titles of daughter, sister, wife, auntie, dog mom, teacher, and my favorite “Mommy” to my son Maximus and daughter Maggie. I graduated from J.K. Mullen High School located in Denver, and I attended the University of Northern Colorado, where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis and endorsement in English Language Development, and a Minor in Reading. I am currently working on my Masters and license in educational leadership so that I can one day become an administrator. In my spare time I love to read, spend time outdoors at our cabin in Nebraska, and spend time with my family.
I have previously taught at the elementary level in the classroom and in the 6th grade classroom before moving into ELD. English language development is a passion of mine because I love the way we can learn from each other and how language connects people around the world. My goal for this year is to teach my students what it means to be lifelong learners, and to help them carry their success into their future.
