Hello, Mesa family! My name is Annalise Moore and I am THRILLED to be the 6th grade counselor for the 2020-2021 school year! You may be wondering, “What is a school counselor?” While I have many roles here at Mesa, my main priority is to support YOU! Every student is different and unique, and I want to embrace the diversity and be a support to help all my students reach their full potential! At Mesa, our counseling program focuses on the social, emotional, academic, and career development needs of every student. Never forget that you are important and you matter!

A little bit about me – I am originally from Tennessee. I lived in Alabama while completing my undergraduate degree at Troy University, then my Master’s degree at Liberty University Online. Now (and forever) I am grateful to now call Colorado my home! Outside of my role as a school counselor, I make it a priority to enjoy this beautiful state with my boyfriend, Blake. We love to go hiking, rock climbing, camping, skiing, and running. I believe that it is important to always practice self-care, so I recharge when I am outside. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet you all and learn about you! Please never hesitate to reach out or stop in to see me in the counseling office! We are going to have a wonderful school year!
