Brent Sheffield

I am Brent Sheffield but most people call me Sheff.  I love my family, teaching, sports, and living in Colorado.  I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I began teaching in 2010 as a High School Spanish teacher in Lake Village, Arkansas as a corps member for Teach For America. After two years of living in Mississippi and teaching in Arkansas my family and I returned to Colorado where I began teaching in Douglas County in 2012.  In 2020 I joined the administrative staff at Mesa Middle school as an Assistant Principal.

Sheffield Family
When I'm not at MMS I am at home with my wife and 4 daughters. As a family we love to play around the house, go camping, and take road trips to other amazing places across the country. If I'm not with my family I'm playing sports or enjoying the outdoors with friends.

I love working with students and I loved my time teaching and coaching. I enjoy getting to know students as an Assistant Principal.  I have experience coaching Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track in Douglas County and I have coached Football and Soccer at the High School level.  I love all Colorado sports teams and I love BYU Sports as well.
