Educational Philosophy

My educational philosophy is simple; as an educational leader, it is imperative to create an environment where students feel safe and cared for and, as a result, are willing to take academic risks and work to reach their full potential.
I believe it is essential for educators to know and understand each student as an individual so that a specific learning plan can be developed to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each and every student.

In addition, a key component for success of any school requires the collaboration of parents, guardians, staff, and community members to work together in supporting our students in the educational process.  As a team, it is important to provide programming that maximizes the students’ learning experiences and inspires each child to reach his or her highest potential.

As an educational leader, it is imperative to actively listen, observe, and gather information from all stakeholders on a continuous basis.  With open and continued communication with all stakeholder groups, one can foster a collaborative environment where all students develop intellectually, social, and emotionally.  To maximize any educational program, it is optimal to maintain trust, respect, and open communication.  Together, working as partners with parents/guardians, the community, and teacher groups, we can put the needs of our students first.
