Kathleen West

Hello My Name Is...

Kathleen West

I am so excited to teach your student this semester! My main goal is to give your student skills to work towards being self sufficient. These areas include personal finance, kitchen know-how's, cooking/baking, interior design and sewing. One aspect of sewing that the students work on is sewing on a button. I encourage taking risks in the classroom and learning from mistakes. As for me, I have been in the district for almost 15 years. I have three kids. My oldest son teaches here at Mesa! My other son is a senior at the University of Utah (Go Utes!) studying business operations and my daughter will be a junior at Brigham Young University-Idaho (Go Cougars!). She is studying special education. As a family we like to travel when we can, be outdoors, going to sporting events and just hanging out and having fun. Please contact me if you have any questions. Here's to a fun semester!
